Having just returned from one of our best track days ever, I thought I’d share some thoughts with you. For those of you who were there, or those of you who’ve attended one our events, you already know what I’m talking about. Why do track days? Well, let’s face it – we all have the need for speed to some degree or another. Don’t tell me you’ve never goosed it up to way over the posted just to see what it felt like, or opened it up when there was no one around and the road ahead clear. But way too many of you ride way too hard on the streets just trying to satisfy that need for speed. Nothing wrong with that except that eventually you wind up hurt, with some really big tickets, or worse. Come to the track. Once you’ve ridden a racetrack, you’ll probably slow way down on the street. On the track you use the entire road, there’s no oncoming traffic, and you go as fast as you please, lean as much as you like, and there’s nary a cop in sight. You just can’t have that much fun on public roads. You don’t need to spend a whole lot to enjoy the track experience, and it’s still a hell of a lot cheaper than getting busted on the street. We view our track days as something akin to a company picnic, except that instead of playing volleyball, we’re riding our bikes around the track. It’s serious fun – perhaps you’d like to join us. Ask any of our employees if you have questions, and I’ll be writing more articles on the subject. Meanwhile, ride safe, because someone loves you.
Next track day Monday, Feburary 4th. Only a few spots left, call Leanne at the dealership to get your spot.
