Day three — time to get serious! Starting from Saint Martin de los Andes as early as 6 a.m., the riders left the asphalt and headed south, venturing off-road deeper and deeper into Patagonia. To this hard 450 km Marathon day under a blazing Argentinian sun a couple of ‘extra’ specials as a deep and slippery river with rocks were added.
